We sew these babies up using the same saddle stitching style that we use with our holsters and other leather items - Time Honored Cowboy Western style! All leather sides'hides are created differently! Every cow I've ever met tended to rub on stuff and get branded - never met a cow that didn't like rubbing on trees or fences. Note the pictures - same day, two slightly different pieces of leather, same dye, different results.
